Shaun White, RMT

Hi my name is Shaun White! And no I’m not a snowboarder ;)

I am the founder of Bellwoods Massage Therapy and have been practicing massage therapy for over 20 years. I have a very established practice in Georgetown, Ontario. I live and reside in Toronto where my heart is and decided to take the leap and open up a home based massage practice in late 2024.

I offer a very advanced approach to therapeutic massage.  I started my journey in Massage Therapy in 2001 at Sir Sandford Fleming College and graduated in 2004.

In addition to my massage therapy education, I have training in:

  • Cranial Sacral Techniques

  • Myofascial Release

  • Sensory Approach

  • Joint Mobilizations

  • Muscle Energy Techniques

  • Usui System of Reiki

  • Mindfulness

With all this training I have mastered a very unique style of massage therapy.  It is a combination of therapeutic massage, joint mobilizations, myofascial realignment, energy work and intuition all applied to balance the body as a whole.

In my spare time, I dedicate myself to maintaining a balanced and active lifestyle. I regularly engage in various forms of exercise from strength training to playing sports. Yoga and meditation are a significant part of my lifestyle, offering both physical flexibility and mental clarity, helping me stay centered and grounded.

Additionally, I have a passion for travelling, which allows me to explore the world and experience new cultures and lifestyles. These experiences have enriched both my personal and professional life.

I also love to grab a coffee or matcha latte and go for a walk through Trinity Bellwoods with my wife Jazmine and little chihuahua Lotus.

Mission

My practice is grounded in empathy, compassion and deep respect for the client’s unique journey. I prioritize creating a safe environment where a client feels heard and valued.

I view massage therapy not just as a physical treatment, but as a holistic experience that integrates mind, body and soul. I understand that psychological and emotional factors can impact physical health, and I approach each session with the intent to harmonize these elements.
